Opening for Nicki Minaj at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Sunday,
Meek Mill had some harsh words for Drake in his first public appearance
since Drake released diss track “Charged Up,” in which he called Meek a
“charity case” and more.
“
I was doing my album. And I asked the nigga to give me a verse for my album,” Meek told the Brooklyn audience, pacing back and forth onstage. “
The
nigga gave me a verse for my album. But he gave me a verse that he
didn’t write that another nigga wrote. Where I come from, I represent
the motherfucking game. I represent the motherfucking streets. If you
ain’t with me, you ain’t gotta act like you with me, I got the
motherfucking streets with me for life!” he said.
