According to The Citizen Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy Church, and his wife, Anita Odegwa Oyakhilome, are reportedly undergoing divorce proceedings.
Anita is said to be filing for divorce on grounds of “adultery and unreasonable behaviour,” reports.
Reports states that the divorce case
with Suit No FD14D01650, was filed on April 9, 2014 at Divorce Section
A, Central Family Court, First Avenue House, High Holborn, London, UK.
According to an elder of Christ Embassy, he
told news sources that Pastor Chris is denying the allegations of
adultery, and that he is convinced that his wife is being influenced by
“bad friends” who want to destroy their home.
In addition to the adultery accusations,
it is said that Anita is also accusing her husband of relegating her in
church affairs. On the other hand, sources say Pastor Chris thinks his
wife is trying to “usurp power and authority above her seniors in the
ministry.”
Reports also state that all efforts being made to reconcile the couple have failed.
The dissolution of the couple’s marriage is said to be in the final phases.
