President Jonathan was in Minna , Niger State today to visit Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, a former military head of state who have returned from a medical trip abroad.
The president was accompanied by the National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd.); his Chief of Staff, Brid.-Gen. Jones Arogbofa (rtd.); Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Senator Bala Muhammed; and the Director-General of his campaign team, Ahmadu Ali.
They all met behind closed-door with the general at his Hilltop Mansion. Shortly after the meeting, the president told journalists that he was in Minna to greet “his father” who recently returned from a medical trip abroad.
Babangida mentioned to the press that we all 'Nigerians' should vote for jonathan, because he has good intentions for Nigeria.
