Wilfred Agbonavbare has lost his battle with cancer. The ex-Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper who had been receiving treatment at a Spanish hospital was said died yesterday.
Agbonavbare played for New Nigeria Bank F.C. and BCC Lions FC. during his active days before moving to Spain in 1990 where he had spent the rest of his career. Sadly, he had also lost his wife 3years ago to cancer. May he RIP.
