Nicki Minaj has pissed off some people after uploading a video of her that appears to show her making fun of a woman in a wheelchair.
Nicki hosted a party at 1OAK in Vegas last night which is where the video was shot. She’s wearing her Halloween fairy costume and spoted the woman in a motorized wheel chair on her way out. Laughing hysterically with her friends, Nicki waved her wand at the woman and said:
Some of Minaj’s fans have maintained it was all innocent fun, others are less moved by the explanation, insisting that disability is no laughing matter.
Handi-Man is a fictional disabled character played by Damon Wayans on the hit 90’s sketch comedy show In Living Color. On the show, Handi-Man wore a superhero costume and stood up for the rights of the disabled.
